Crestline is pleased to introduce the all new CrestRide system now available on Chev chassis ambulances.

2009-10-26

Developed exclusively for Crestline by industry leading component manufacturers, the new CrestRide System is a unique hybrid air-over-leaf suspension that offers:

Reduced Stretcher Load Height - the reduced stretcher load height on Chevy chassis ambulances makes loading and unloading the patient easier and reduces the risk of medic back injuries.

Improved Ride Comfort - the new CrestRide System provides a significant improvement in patient and medic ride comfort.

Improved Handling - the tuned dampers and air springs, as well as the constant vehicle height, greatly improve handling characteristics. Drivers will also get less wheel hop during hard braking and less shudder during acceleration.

Reduces Driver Fatigure - the air spring suspension reduces cab noise and road vibrations. The harsh, choppy ride of the factory leaf suspension is largely eliminated.

Meets all CMVSS and FMVSS Compliances

Crestline is pleased to introduce the Multi-Patient Emergency Response Bus which will be on display at FDIC in Indianapolis on April 10th-12th, 2008.

Based on a new ElDorado National 40’ low floor bus, this new innovative vehicle, custom built to meet the requirements of the City of Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service is designed to accommodate the treatment and transport of several ambulatory patients or up to 8 stretcher patients. This is the second vehicle of this type recently produced by Crestline. The first order, produced for the City of Toronto EMS, was delivered in February 2008. “Toronto EMS, the largest city- based Emergency Medical Service in Canada, really took the lead by expanding their Emergency Support Program and collaborated with us to develop this vehicle. Since then, the City of Winnipeg and other large urban services have indicated similar requirements in meeting the growing complexity of demands faced by EMS today.” says Glenn Nicol, Crestline’s Sales Manager.

These multi-patient emergency buses will be in use daily responding to a full range of mass incident calls such as fires, crashes, crime scenes or any emergency that occurs involving a large number of people. The vehicle also functions well as a mobile treatment centre for large community events.

With vehicles sold worldwide, Crestline has grown to become one of North America’s most advanced manufacturers of custom built ambulances and emergency vehicles. Our commitment to quality is demonstrated in ISO 9001:2000 and Ford QVM certification, and KKK-A-1822 compliance. Since 1975, Crestline has led the industry with innovations such as the Aero Body - all aluminum aerodynamic ambulance body, O2toGo Oxygen loading system, Dual main cot designs, High Visibility Exterior Graphics and our exclusive CrestCoat exterior finish. Crestline is also an authorized dealer for ElDorado National, the undisputed leader in the commercial bus industry.

Crestline Coach Achieves BNQ Certification

2007-06-13

Crestline Coach is pleased to announce that our FleetMax QC ambulance is now certified for sale in Quebec by the Bureau De Normalisation Du Québec (BNQ). Crestline is only the second manufacturer to succeed in achieving BNQ certification, adding an entirely new level of choice thus changing the landscape of business in the Quebec EMS industry.

This certification was encouraged and ultimately achieved due to an increased demand for Crestline vehicles in Québec. Coopérative Des Techniciens Ambulanciers Du Québec (CTAQ), based in Quebec City, received the first shipment of 8 FleetMax ambulances in November 2006. Their faith in our product was so strong that upon delivery of the first 8 units, CTAQ immediately ordered 12 more units for delivery in June 2007. Interest in Crestline ambulances is growing throughout Québec, and a number other EMS providers are already recognizing the benefits of our product.

Crestline’s rigorous testing and certification program ensures that our manufactured products typically far exceed industry standards for safety and operational performance. In addition to BNQ, our certifications include ambulance models compliant with the Ontario Ministry of Health, the Manitoba and BC governments, as well as U.S. KKK specifications. With more than 30 years of manufacturing success, our dedicated team of professionals work diligently to develop effective and efficient designs, processes, materials and customer service, which ultimately means that we are able to meet your needs and exceed your expectations.

We are dedicated to providing a product that reaches far beyond your immediate needs, and believe that incorporating strengths of different certification standards into our ambulance designs not only allows us to serve specific regions, but also enhances the quality of our product as a whole. The designs and materials used to achieve higher standards for any of our vehicles will be incorporated into all of our models wherever possible, greatly increasing the safety and durability of our vehicles in a host of strenuous circumstances.

The Type III FleetMax QC is equipped with safety features and industry innovations such as the AeroBody and the “O2 to Go” system, now available in the province of Quebec. Built on a Ford chassis, it features an all aluminum aerodynamic body with a fully integrated roll cage. This vehicle provides a unique balance of comfort, cost effectiveness, ample storage and working space with notable versatility and reliability.

Established in 1975, Crestline Coach Ltd. manufactures ambulances with world class safety and innovation at the heart of our product. We are also Canada’s only nation-wide distributor of small and mid-sized commercial buses, with corporate head office and manufacturing facilities located in Saskatoon, SK.
